Lusa Bridge is situated about 6 miles north of Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye, at the junction of the A850 Kyleakin to Portree road and the single track road to Kylerhea. The boy in the foreground is almost certainly Neil, the son of the photographer Duncan Macpherson who ran a Pharmacy in Kyle of Lochalsh. Macpherson produced a range of postcards from his photographs, which he sold from the chemist's shop close to the ferry jetty in Kyle.
