Working Together
The success of Am Baile is driven largely by community groups and individuals. We offer help to local history groups,
community organisations and individuals in preserving and sharing the culture of local areas. If you have any photographs
or documents which illustrate life in the Highlands & Islands, past or present, we would like to hear from you.
- We can digitise (free of charge) any material you would like to share including photographs, old documents,
even audio and video recordings
- We digitise to the highest standards and will return all original material to you, along with free digital copies
- All we ask is that you sign a copyright agreement giving Am Baile permission to publish some, or all, of the digitised material on the website. To view copyright agreement click here
- If you have any original records and you would like them preserved securely and made available to the public for research under controlled conditions, please contact the Highland Council Archives Service on 01463 220 330 or by email at archives@highland.gov.uk
- We can advise on copyright issues
Some of the ways in which we have helped heritage groups include:
- Promoting publications and exhibitions by featuring a small selection of their content along with purchase/contact details
- Preserving past exhibitions by digitising their content and sharing the material on the web
